TE Connectivity VAL-U-LOK 4.2 mm Receptacle Housings with TPA (Terminal Position Assurance)

VAL-U-LOK double row receptacle housings with a 4.2mm centreline for use in wire to wire and wire to board applications. These VAL-U-LOK receptacle housings have an easy mate and unmate design with keying for accurate alignment and an integral housing locking latch for secure mating. This new range of VAL-U-LOK 4.2 mm receptacle housings accepts optional TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) devices. TPA devices ensure that the terminals are fully seated in the housings and prevent terminal back-out due to vibration, shock or pulling forces. The housings of these VAL-U-LOK receptacle housings are available in two different materials.
Part numbers X-1969614-X have UL 94V-0 rated nylon housings
Part numbers X-2296205-X have housings that are both glow wire compliant and UL 94V-0 rated (Glow wire test according to EN/IEC 60335-1 and UL 94V-0)
The TPA devices for these VAL-U-LOK receptacle connectors need to be purchased separately, see stock number 811-6752 typically.
The crimp receptacle contacts for these VAL-U-LOK receptacle connectors need to be purchased separately, see stock number 123-4879
The VAL-U-LOK TPA range of connectors are intermateable with the existing VAL-U-LOK connectors and headers.
