A versatile cutting tap for use on a wide range of materials including metal, wood and plastic suitable for hand tapping with a tap wrench and power tool use.;Constructed from High Speed Steel (HSS) for a temperature and corrosion resistant, durable cutting tap that wont crack or splinter under pressure or when used at high speeds.;As a straight flute thread the tap is perfect for cutting threads on blind or through holes, capturing the chips in the flutes to leave a clean thread for bolts and fittings.
