RS Pro 6 mm LED Indicators, Tab Termination

Each indicator includes a convenient solder lug, meaning they can be terminated through a quick and easy installation for your application. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.

What are the uses of an Indicator?
Uses of indicators fall entirely down to the user. They can be fixed to PCB circuit boards and mounted on push buttons and switches. Primarily, these types of indicators are used within circuit boards and electronic designs. This is due to their relatively small size, as compared with other types of indicators, such as car turn signals.
Why choose LED?
LED has many benefits, the longevity and low power consumption are the main selling points of an LED. However, there are various other reasons to consider:
• Temperature - LED's give off a far cooler temperature than what an incandescent or neon light would.
• Direction - LED's will only emit light in a single direction, reducing the need for additional components, such as reflectors. Although this wouldn't apply if the LED indicator is being used as a circuit board signal.
