In the case of constant scanning ranges, the measuring objects can be identified precisely irrespective of their colour. The D2 series offers reliable background suppression. The optics are also laid out in such a way that the measurement accuracy of the sensor is barely impaired by dust deposits.
The response time of the D2 sensor is just 1 ms, facilitating use in fast-moving automatic production plants. The highly robust zinc diecast housing is sealed in accordance with IP67.
