From Molex, this 55100 series 6 way serial I/O plug kit has a 2.0mm pitch and solder termination. Some times referred to as a FireWire, this wire to wire serial I/O plug kit consists of a housing assembly, shell body and cover, cable clamp, covers and screws. The metal parts of this serial I/O 6 way plug kit are made from stainless steel, the housing from high temperature thermoplastic and the contacts from phosphor bronze with a gold plating. FireWire cable assemblies are known for their high rate of data transfer, and are often used in digital video applications.
