RN1810 WiFi PICtail Plus Daughter Board

The Microchip RN1810 PICtail/PICtail Plus Daughter Board is a flexible platform to develop the RN1810 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n WiFi module. Through its PICtail connector, the board can be used to add the RN1810 to compatible Microchip development platforms such as the Explorer boards. It can also be used standalone via a USB interface.

The featured RN1810 is a low-power 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n WiFi Module that combines all the necessary circuitry into a ready certified surface mount solution. The RN1810 integrates a TCP/IP networking stack, cryptographic accelerator, power management subsystem, real-time clock, 2.4 GHz transceiver and RF power amplifier. The integrated design provides a certified solution that removes the hurdle of RF design regulatory and compliance testing. Also the RN1810 is simple to program as only simple ASCII command language is required. The simplest configuration of the RN1810 requires only power, ground and UART Tx and Rx connections.
