This easy-to-use Universal Programming Module can be used with the MPLAB REAL ICE, MPLAB ICD 3 In-Circuit Debugger and PICkit 3 In-Circuit Debugger to program 8- to 40-pin DIP-package parts.

Operates from tool-supplied VDD (when using ICD 3 and PICkit 3)
Two on-board adjustable regulators:
The VDD regulator adjusts from 1.2 to 5.5V
The CORE VDD regulator, adjusting from 1.2 to 2.7V, is used to supply the VDDCORE / VCAP-pin voltage
