Product details
KEMET T496 Series
KEMET T496 series of tantalum chip capacitors offers a fail-safe design with built-in fuse element. The T496 fuse element offers excellent protection from damaging short circuit conditions in applications where damaging high fault currents exist. Test tabs on side of case bypass the capacitor element to allow direct testing of the fuse assembly.
Built-in fuse protects against short circuit mode
Halogen-free epoxy
Fuse activation within 1 second at fault currents of 4 amps and higher
Continuous current capability: 0.75 amps
RoHS Compliant and lead-free terminations
