Eaton PowerXL General Purpose Inverter Drives DG1 Series - Three-Phase
The Eaton DC1 inverter series of compact variable frequency drives have been specifically engineers for today more demanding commercial and industrial applications. The DG1 is a universal drive, with a special emphasis on pumps, fans and conveyor belts. Using an industry-leading energy-saving algorithm with high short circuit current rating and a robust design, the DG1 drive offers increased efficiency, safety and reliability.
Features and Benefits
Three-phase input / three-phase motor connection
LCD display and keypad
EMI/RFI filters standard on all drivers
Ease of use design doesn't require a specialist training
V/Hz and Sensorless Vector Speed Control
Active energy control algorithm, 5% DC choke (Frame 1 upwards), input surge protection, EMI/RFI filter built-in
Compact size, open Type 12 option, on-board communication and I/O. Small footprint with already included DC-choke saves cabinet space.
High overload (CT) and low overload (VT) rated, conformal coated boards, brake chopper circuit, durable metal power section, 50°C rating (60°C de-rating), removable keypad rated IP54
Extensive on-board communication protokolls and I/O give a maximum of flexibility without using option boards
A high-performance range of 0.75kW to 630 kW
How do Inverter Drives Work?
Inverter drive, also known as AC drives, variable frequency drives (VFD) variable speed drives (VSD) or frequency converters, are a type of speed drive that allows you as the user to adjust the speed or output torque of electric motors. Inverter drives are controlled by inputting specific frequencies or parameters into the device to tell it what to do, allowing for greater control over your machinery and operations. These drives have many applications of use from small appliances like a simple fan and pump load all the way through to high torque machine control applications.
