Devolo dLAN 500 Duo Powerline Adapters

From Devolo, the dLAN 500 Duo Powerline adapters provide an uncomplicated solution for a high-speed internet networking across the home. Powerline adapters or HomePlug as they are also known are simple plug-in adapters that utilise the homes existing electrical circuit to create internet access points. The Devolo 500 Duo Powerline adapters provide a continuous, reliable internet connection with speeds up to 500 Mbps. Incorporating two Fast Ethernet LAN ports, the Devolo dLAN 500 Duo adapters support connection of any two network compatible devices at the same time. Ideal for use in busy households requiring unlimited on-line access. Set up is easy, simply insert a Powerline adapter into a socket outlet close to your router. Attach an RJ45 patch cable to the Ethernet port at the bottom of the Powerline adapter. Connect the other end of the patch cable into the spare Ethernet port at the back of your router. An additional Powerline adapter is inserted into a power socket in another room where internet access is required. Connect a second Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the additional adapter and connect to your device. High-speed internet access is achieved. Furthermore, automatic encryption keeps you protected from unauthorised access at all times.
