Wire breakage detection in the measurement circuit
Positively driven output contacts: 2 NO, 2 NC for 250 Vac
LED displays for motor standstill, wire breakage and operating voltage
Overall width 45 mm
Standstill recognition for 3-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors, e.g. for safety door lock releases on machine tools or for activating parking brakes.
The BD5936.17 measures the induced voltage of the slowing motor at two terminals on the stator winding. No initiator etc. is necessary. Frequency converter-driven motors cannot be monitored with these devices due to the leakage currents from their power semiconductors.
