Allen Bradley Guardmaster - Ferrogard 1, 2, 20 & 21 Non Contact Safety Switch
Secure your machine guards and improve safety for personnel with the Ferrogard FRS 1, 2, 20 and 21 Non-Contact Safety Switches by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. These innovative magnetically actuated non-contact safety switches are expertly designed to be installed on guard doors where they limit access to hazardous areas, preventing risk of injury to operators. When the magnetic actuator is withdrawn from the switch the NC safety contacts are opened, which isolates power to the machine.
Ferrogard safety switches provide the reliability of non-contact switches combined with a high tolerance to door misalignment due to their large sensing field. They have simplified set-up and alignment to help decrease installation costs. They also have internal non-resettable overload protection on the safety contact and protected safety contacts. Risk of debris contamination is reduced due to no contact between the sensor and actuator. The FRS 1, 2, 20 and 21 devices are made from moulded ABS with a rectangular housing for flexible mounting options, and are sealed to IP67 (NEMA 6P), which makes them dust-tight and highly suitable for use in wet environments.
Allen Bradley Guardmaster have a huge range of machine monitoring and safety devices to meet all your application requirements. Their products are cost-effective, high-quality, and built to global standards to help keep your operations running smoothly, protect your personnel, and optimise productivity.

What are the advantages of non-contact safety switches?
Non-contact safety switches are highly reliable and durable. They take less wear and tear and are low-maintenance, as well as resistant to shocks and vibrations. They cannot be easily manipulated or tampered with and are ideal for use with machine guards and doors to restrict access to unsafe areas. They are often used in industrial environments, such as in factory production lines. Allen Bradley Guardmaster are experts in machine safety devices and have an exceptional range to help you find your ideal solution.
