Product details
MIT220 Insulation & Continuity Tester
The MIT200 is one of the smallest insulation testers available on the market today. With options of a two voltage tester to a three voltage instrument, the MIT200 instruments offer a range of safety and operation features.
Insulation testing to 1000MΩ
Dual & triple test voltages models
Digital display with electronic analogue arc display helps to confirm insulation condition & to monitor fluctuating readings not apparent on the digital display
Continuity testing at 200mA down to 0.01ohms resolution
Automatic discharge of circuit under test
1mA test current at selected voltage range
Default voltmeter automatically switches in when the instrument is connected to a circuit with an AC or DC voltage greater than 25V
Autoranging analogue arc scale shows only the scale in use
Live circuit warning above 25V, also inhibits insulation & continuity tests above 50V
Lead resistance compensation on continuity
Hands free continuity testing Auto power-down after 5 minutes
Complies with IEC 1010-1 safety standard installation Category III, 600V phase to earth
Conforms to EN61557-1
Tests to BS7671, 713-02, 713-03, 713-04, 713-06, 713-08, 413-04-04
Supplied with
6 x AA alkaline batteries, test leads crocodile clips, carry case & instructions.
Warning
When measuring voltages, the use of fused test leads is recommended for personal safety.
