Solder Sleeves®

A one piece soldering system for jointing signal cables and terminating cable screens. The system consists of heat shrinkable sleeve containing a predetermined amount of fluxed solder and a thermoplastic sealing insert at each end. The solder sleeve is placed over the joint to be made and the sleeve is heated by a heat gun. The sleeve shrinks, the sealing inserts melt and flow and the solder starts to melt. Heating is continued until the solder is seen to fully melt and flow. Temperature range -55°C to +125°C.
